CHEATING!!!!

According to Dr. HCG ... NOT ME!!!


Faulty Dieting
Few patients will take one's word for it that the slightest deviation from the diet has under HCG disastrous results as far as the weight is concerned. This extreme sensitivity has the advantage that the smallest error is immediately detectable at the daily weighing but most patients have to make the experience before they will believe it.
Persons in high official positions such as embassy personnel, politicians, senior executives, etc., who are obliged to attend social functions to which they cannot bring their meager meal must be told beforehand that an officialdinner will cost them the loss of about three days treatment, however careful they are and in spite of a friendly and would-be cooperative host. We generally advise them to avoid all around embarrassment, the almost inevitable turn of conversation to their weight problem and the outpouring of lay counsel from their table partners by not letting it be known that they are under treatment. They should take dainty servings of everything, bide what they can under the cutlery and book the gain which may take three days to get rid of as one of the sacrifices which their profession entails. Allowing three days for their correction, such incidents do not jeopardize the treatment, provided they do not occur all too frequently in which case treatment should be postponed to a socially more peaceful season.

Dietary Errors
Any interruption of the normal loss of weight which does not fit perfectly into one of those categories is always due to some possibly very minor dietary error. Similarly, any gain of more than 100 grams is invariably the result of some transgression or mistake, unless it happens on or about the day of ovulation or during the three days preceding the onset of menstruation, in which case it is ignored. In all other cases the reason for the gain must be established at once.
The patient who frankly admits that he has stepped out of his regimen when told that something has gone wrong is no problem. He is always surprised at being found out, because unless he has seen this himself he will not believe that a salted almond, a couple of potato chips, a glass of tomato juice or an extra orange will bring about a definite increase in his weight on the following day.
Very often he wants to know why extra food weighing one ounce should increase his weight by six ounces. We explain this in the following way: Under the influence of HCG the blood is saturated with food and the blood volume has adapted itself so that it can only just accommodate the 500 calories which come in from the intestinal tract in the course of the day. Any additional income, however little this may be, cannot be accommodated and the blood is therefore forced to increase its volume sufficiently to hold the extra food, which it can only do in a very diluted form. Thus it is not the weight of what is eaten that plays the determining role but rather the amount of water which the body must retain to accommodate this food.
This can be illustrated by mentioning the case of salt. In order to hold one teaspoonful of salt the body requires one liter of water, as it cannot accommodate salt in any higher concentration. Thus, if a person eats one teaspoonful of salt his weight will go up by more than two pounds as soon as this salt is absorbed from his intestine.
To this explanation many patients reply: Well, if I put on that much every time I eat a little extra, how can I hold my weight after the treatment? It must therefore be made clear that this only happens as long as they are under HCG. When treatment is over, the blood is no longer saturated and can easily accommodate extra food without having to increase its volume. Here again the professional reader will be aware that this interpretation is a simplification of an extremely intricate physiological process which actually accounts for the phenomenon.

FINALLY!!!!! (23 days later)


I am super PROUD to show you that having a baby wont mess your body up for life! I feel as good as I did before I got pregnant.....

I was sooo afraid I was going to be looking at this in the mirror forever... Believe me that is what it looks like a few weeks post baby. Your skin is wrinkly....

But thank you to the ever so wonderful LAY IT ON THICK....
(for my one, only ONE cm. long stretch mark above my belly button)

Thanks to my healthy diet while I was pregnant... (OK that one was a total joke for my husband, because he was afraid I wasn't going to feed her one good thing while she was in my belly) 

NOT thank you for breastfeeding... You were not on my team this time...

BUT thank you to my SKINNY DROPS and willpower...

Day 22

STOP TAKING DROPS.... 

BUT 

Continue the diet like usual these last two days!

My weight this morning was less than exciting....

Down but... of course you wish it was more....

I was at 158

TOTAL 16 LBS

I was hoping for more like 155ish but NO such luck.... I did have travel and a baby thats not sleeping consistently. I know that not having good rest definitely affects how your body is going to burn fat. 

I hope all of you are doing well... 

I will be doing my after pictures as soon as I am done to prove to everyone that I have been  ON IT!!! I want you guys to see if you think I shrunk where I had stored fat... 

It wasn't my arms or my lower legs... It is all in the MIDDLE! yippe....

I am 5.5 lbs away from pre-baby weight now.

 I would say not SHABBY for 3 weeks!!! It took me 10 months to gain it!!!!! 

My skin on my tummy has amazed me... it has gone back to just like before... I am loving that... Because I think I had myself psyched up to be a sloppy mess. Thank you Lord for the miracle that you do with our bodies bringing these wonderful angels into this world!!! I am ready for #2 ;) (when its time)

Day 21

This morning my weight was up .2

Not sure except my weigh in time was earlier.

Today I cut out melbas to see if it helped me, and drank LOTS OF WATER..... Stayed near a potty, I felt pregnant all over again! 

Tea....

12pm Chicken over Bibb Lettuce Apples and dressing.... (apple cider vinegar, spicy mustard, and a few stevia) Blend up and serve. 

4pm 6 Strawberries

6:30 pm 3.5oz Southwest Chicken with HOT sauce and Cauliflower salad

Day 20

12pm Chicken FAJITA
Sliced Chicken precooked in a skillet sliced onion and bell pepper squeezed lemon. When almost done, add the Valencia sauce (found on the mexican isle) Enjoy!

4pm Grapefruit 

6pm Steak with SPIKE seasoning and Green Beans

NEW

I have kept it sooo simple but today I just got to the point I cant even think about steak....

I was struggling thinking I still have some to lose and I am sick of eating the same things.... I loved the cauliflower salad Mom made me this weekend. I got the stuff to make that and have it in the fridge. Got some different sauces and such for some new flavors! I am looking forward to this week now!!!

If you guys have hit plateaus you DONT have to do apple or steak day.... 

try switching up what you are use to... different veggies raw or cooked... hang in there... you will see some change.

SO SO

I am still stuck!!!

Lb wise... Still the same.... It happens really...

I am going to try and drink even MORE water today. 

I measured though.... 3.5 in off the MIDDLE.... Yep that "Tenley POOCH" is shrinking fast!

Second week is always the slowest pound wise for everyone...

3rd week it picks back up a bit...

It is hard not to focus on that number and get down, but I tried on my favorite pair of Rock and Republic's and they were on and buttoned.  That pretty much does it for me, not going to lie. I am SECRETLY in love with those jeans... SHH (don't tell Nick) ;o)

Yep they are mens... Crazy I know I am not sure what man would like this style, not my man... I got them at the RACK and they were in the women section. I loved them so much bet every time I tried on other women's ones they were REALLY low. Not into the juck showing when you bend over, thats why I loved these so much... Did my research and the BUTTON fly only comes on Mens... There you go I am a cross dresser. Or I guess someone who doesn't like to show the goods. Nevertheless, I love these BOY jeans on this GIRL.

It caught up to me....

This is ok... I tried on some clothes and I am seeing HUGE changes in inches!!!! I am back into many pants. Still a ways to go to be comfy, but that is a great judge of progress... It feels really good. TWO short weeks and I am well on my way!

Today I just kept it simple... But i am going for grapefruit!!!! It always does me good!

Nick had a really crazy week and weekend at work... So my crazy self decided I was going to mow the lawn so he wouldn't have to on our family day SUNDAY. 

WELLL...... NOT smart!

104 degrees at 2pm in the afternoon. PURE HUMIDITY.

took me about an hour and a half Drenched.... and dizzy... I come in for water... And start thinking GREAT... Im not going to lose because of how strenuous this was.  About like a 4 mi run and I am not kidding.... We have an OLD push lawn mower. Our house is brand new so it has new sod and a new sprinkler system so it is all uneven and lumpy. My husband keeps saying oh its fine... I almost drove straight to Home Depot and bought him a new one... That was practically slavery. No one should have to do that!

With that being said... WAY to many calories burned and It will mess me up for sure.... WE WILL SEE

The question I get asked a lot is... What if I don't have 20-25 lbs to lose ???

What if I just have 5, 10, 15, to lose? Is HCG for me???

IT is recommended to take a day off the drops once every 7-10 days so your body doesn't become use to the HCG. This was my NO DROP day.

It was really hot today and I was kinda dragging. I did not have my B12 with me. If I had have taken it, I would have felt a lot better! Remember to have yours with you anytime you need a little boost. I think mid morning and early afternoon are GREAT times! Listen to you body, and take accordingly. Some people do once a day, some like my mom 4x per day. It is really up to you. Find what works.

I had one girl start a few dys ago that wanted to SPEED up weight loss and go running every night. I know it sounds crazy but, you WONT lose nearly as much to try and workout while on the diet. While that is really hard for some, that is great news for others. Like me, I don't even have time or access to the gym right now. 

There is no way I can take Tenley and leave her with a 16yr old girl that doesn't care and will sit and do homework and not even look up at the 18 kids she has in the room. I have also realized that older kids love babies and they want to but their grimy hand ALL over her. NO THANKS. We don't have family here, so it really isn't an option. 

It all ok on HCG. You burn such a HIGH amount of calories already being on the DROPS that if you burn extra by exercise it make your deficit so HIGH that it starts making you body think it staving. That = not losing as much, because your body tries to hold on to stored fat. 

We have all tried not eating much, DOESNT WORK. And if you do lose a few, as soon as you LOOK at food its back. STARVING is not good for the body...

So everyone one on it with me, try to stay away from the gym for you 3 weeks, and then continue afterwards! But I never had to workout even close to how I had to before to keep it off! I JUST LOVE HCG!!!

DAY 9

I stayed the same again this morning! 

SOME WOULD BE DISCOURAGED, BUT NOT ME. 

I know I will keep rolling along. Big loss coming my way... I could be losing more inches these past days. Im ok with that my pants are sure needing that!!! 

Today we opted for the FULL blown 

STEAK DAY!!!

Love them they are a miracle!

They sound hard but they aren't really! Lots of water and tea or coffee! (also B12)

Then you have BIG juicy steak... 6-8 ounces! THAT'S it... EASY!

We will see what it does for me!!!!

I feel GOOD today!!! Not tired or sluggish at all... I have been cleaning away and playing with Tenley all day!

I did the "skinny drops" after I dried up when i was nursing my son who was 5 months old... I was sad about that part but really excited to get my baby weight off.. This was baby number 3 for me and also.. he was 11 pounds 4 ounces and I got HUUUUGEE... but after hcg i lost all my weight and am back to normal!! Today I was making meals for my Parents too, so I Jazzed it up a little. Mixed some veggies... so we will see!!!

10 am FRUIT flavored Herbal Tea

12pm Leftover Chicken from last night cut up in cubes on a bed of Butter lettuce. I added cubed apples too with Balsamic vinegar.

1pm DROPS

4pm Orange

7pm Eye of Round Steak with Spicy Montreal  seasoning and  Steamed Asparagus with garlic pepper and sea salt. Then I also made a Cauliflower Salad, a cool summer blend.

1/2 a head of crumbled cauliflower (raw)
4 small tomatoes diced
1 cucumber diced
1/3 cup purple onion chopped tiny
1/2 cup of Balsamic Vinegar
Garlic pepper, Frech Ground pepper, and Sea Salt to taste.

(Note:  I usually make this the night before I want to eat this. I put it in a rectangular dish so it marinates well. The day afte,r it has soaked in the to veggies more and tastes even better.)

I ate really late tonight because my parents were coming into town, and I wanted to wait on them. We will see on the scale tomm, but I bet you can definitely tell... 

That's why I like to eat early and go to bet early.

ASTONISHED

I had no idea...

We have had over 500 visitors to the blog in the last 2 days. 

AMAZING.

I am not an author by any means. I am not the BLOGGER that everyone can't get enough of. So please, bear with me!

I am just a NEW MOM that wants to be healthy and feel good about myself! Just like many of you.

I hope that this is reaching people.  I want to share the good news of how to change you life... It's easy. For generations women have struggled with body image and wanting  to look the best that we possibly can.

 I hope to help many people be freed from that, it is a stinky way to live... It makes it hard to enjoy all the blessings in life that we are given DAILY. Don't miss out on another one of those. BE HAPPY. It makes me feel happy to know I am working on taking care of ME!

TAKE CARE OF ME!

I think many MOMs get so busy doing that, being a MOM, that they lose THEMSELVES! 

Yes, we are to love our children the greatest duty and blessing we can be given in life. We are to be there for them, teach them, and guide them. We are to nurture all of their needs. We have been given that gift. 

But, I feel the Lord tells us we ARE BETTER at all of that, if we are taking care of ourselves physically and mentally. He wants us to take care of our bodies. 
Feast on the food of the LAND. (That isn't Micky D's)

AT EVERYTHING... WIFE, MOTHER, DAUGHTER, SISTER, AND FRIEND.

(okay.... It also helps just to feel SUPER HOT!!!) 

I am not saying the only way to do any of that is with THIS diet, because there is many ways. Everyone finds their own personal happiness in their individual way. I just know for me personally, if I feel good about myself when I wake up in the morning I can accomplish anything. I know that my Father in Heaven smiles at that.  He wants us to be AMAZING... We all need his help. When I feel like I am doing my part, I am more willing to accept the Strength I need from the Lord.


OKAY enough of that.....

My weighing time is 9:00am. Find yours and stick to that same time everyday. Not just morning because there is always a difference in your 7am weigh in and your 10am. Just be consistent!

DAY 5

This morning I weighed in at...

170 

That's 4 lbs down so far!

I like the feel of that...


I usually keep my foods very simple. 

One of the "Plateau Breakers" says to NOT mix you veggies. 

For example you could make salsa and put on chicken or a salad. To make that you would mix a few veggies, tomatoes, peppers, onion. You are allowed to have all of these on the diet.

I choose to not mix veggies very regularly because I feel that I lose more weight if I don't.  That does not mean that you have to do this same thing.  Feel free to make salsa,  gazpacho, or have multiple veggies with one meal of any kind. 

Everyone's body responds differently.

 You can also have Organic Tamari soy sauce. Clients of ours LOVE making a stir-fry with it sautéing onion, peppers, and beef or chicken. 
For me the sodium in it causes me not to lose as much, so I would just rather skip out on that. Do my 3 weeks and then eat all the SUSHI AND STIR-FRY when I am done!

KEEP A JOURNAL OF WHAT YOUR EATING.

YOU WILL FIND THAT CERTAIN FOODS WORK GREAT WITH YOUR BODY. 

Mine are STEAK, CHICKEN, BROCCOLI, APPLES, GRAPEFUIT, and EGGS (on maintenance)

Just because those are mine, doesn't mean they are yours.

6:30pm Steak on the Grill with Montreal Steak seasoning, Fresh Baby Spinach with Balsamic Vinegar on top. PELLAGRINO sparkling mineral water and Lemon. (OR club soda if you are wanting a little cocktail with dinner)

7pm DROPS

Okay so because the first 2 days are loading you will not lose any weight.

That means I was already doing a pretty good job eating!

MORNING

 7 am  Drops

LUNCH

1 pm 
Green Leaf Lettuce, Grilled Chicken, Strawberries (3 Large) sliced, and Balsamic Vinegar
with 3 Sea Salt Melba Rounds.  Water

(It was DELICIOUS so I had to take a PIC)

AFTERNOON

2pm DROPS

4pm Apple, B12 Sublingual, and lots of Water.

DINNER

6pm Steak with SPICY Montreal Steak Seasoning, and Asparagus steamed with Garlic salt, pepper, and a lemon squeezed on it right before serving. 2 Melba Rounds. WATER!!!

7pm DROPS

10pm Magnesium and Potassium. MORE WATER

Day THREE

Day 3

WEIGH IN 174.0

7am -  Woke up took my SKINNY drops

9am - 16 oz of Water and a cup of Harney and Son's Cinnamon Tea. You can only get this tea at a BARNES AND NOBLE Starbucks. I buy it by the can and make it at home. Its AMAZING!

12pm - Fiji Apple.

12:30pm Take my SKINNY drops.

1:30pm - 3.5 oz. of Chicken breast and Organic Baby Spinach with Balsamic Vinegar. I get the Oscar Meyer precooked Chicken it has no Sugar or MSG which is key. I like the Southwest flavor the most! I had another 24 oz of water and my 2 melba rounds in Sea Salt flavor.

3pm - 20 oz of Water and 1/2 a grapefuit.

6pm - 3.5 oz Steak with Montreal Steak seasoning by McCormick. Steamed Brocci with salt, pepper, and a squeeze of lemon. 2 melba rounds. 8oz of water.

7pm - Skinny drops.

10pm- Magnesium and Potassium and 16oz of water

Day ONE AND TWO

Day 1 & 2 are so easy...

YOU EAT WHATEVER YOUR HEART DESIRES!

Yep that's right... ANYTHING

okay, you get it!

The diet recommends you try and have healthy fats like Nuts, Cheese,Avocado, Tuna, Salmon on these 2 Days.

It says to EAT TO CAPACITY
That doesn't mean one big meal.
 It means eat all day breakfast, snack, lunch, snack, dinner, and snack.

You begin taking your drops.
3 times per day. Leave them under your tongue 2-10 min. Longer the better I think.

My Day 2 of loading was yesterday thats when I take my BEFORE picture. (I will load it later)
I already start to not really be that hungry in the afternoon DAY 2, but make sure and eat eat eat. This helps support your energy level and such while the HCG gets into your body.  It takes about three days.

The first few days of the 500 calories is a little hard just retraining yourself not to hit up the pantry or grab a morning Coke. 

After the first weeks its a breeze, and you have lost around 7 LBS so that helps!!! 

Don't forget to do your grocery shopping on one of these days.
Its all about being prepared.


APPROVED SHOPPING LIST


Fruits:
- Apples - Oranges - Strawberries - Grapefruit

Protein:
- Boneless Skinless Chicken Breasts - Lean Steak (Beef, Buffalo) - Extra Lean Ground Beef - White Fish ex: Tilapia, Cod, Scallops, Lobster, and Halibut

Vegetables:
– Lettuce, Spinach, Tomatoes, Celery, Broccoli, Cauliflower, Cucumber, Asparagus, Cabbage, Zucchini, Peppers (red and green), Chard, Onions, Mushrooms, Zucchini, and Radishes

Starch:
Melba Toast or Grissini Breadsticks

Water:
- Drink plenty of water. Drink at least 2 liters of water a day. We like to drink 1⁄2 of your body weight in ounces of water per day. It is also not recommended to drink tap water because of the chlorine content. 
     
Tea/Coffee: 
-You can drink as much coffee and or herbal tea a day as desired. No artificial sweeteners or sugar is allowed. We recommend Stevia. (It comes in many flavors)

Spices and Seasonings:
- You can put spices on y:our protein and vegetables as long as there is no MSG or sugar in the ingredients. Look for spices with 0 calories - Lemons and/or limes. 1 is allowed per meal. 

Dressings/Sauces:
-No sugar or MSG allowed (make sure to read all ingredients labels) Which includes Mustard, Soy Sauce, Braggs Liquid Aminos, and Steak Sauce with no sugar. Balsamic Vinegar, White Wine Vinegar, Apple Cider Vinegar. Look for sauces with 0 calories. Hot sauce- Tabasco (a favorite is Green Pepper Sauce by Tabasco) It can be used on everything such as, steak, chicken, vegetables, and in any dish for added flavor.

Supplements:
- Potassium, Magnesium, and B-12(in liquid drop or sublingual capsule form)
